Nothing to avoid. This is the one occasion with no rules.
What we would tell you in the shop
Roughly a third of what leaves this shop is for nobody’s birthday. Someone walks past on the way home and buys nine stems because the table looks empty.
The cheapest good answer in the shop is nine stems of chrysanthemum for ฿180, and it will still be alive in ten days. We will tell you that, even though it is the smallest sale we can make.
The card
Usually none.
Free, always, with any order. Thai, English or Chinese. Say which when you order. If you do not know what to write, say so. We will send three lines for the occasion and you pick one or change it. Most people do this and it is not unusual.

Prices
The bands in full
| Band | Price | What you get | Reads as |
|---|---|---|---|
| Posy | ฿350 – ฿550 | 5 – 9 stems, one or two kinds ~25 cm across | A kind thought. Fits one hand. |
| Bouquet | ฿600 – ฿950 | 12 – 18 stems, three kinds plus foliage ~35 cm across | The normal answer to most days. |
| Large bouquet | ฿1,000 – ฿1,600 | 25 – 35 stems ~45 cm across | Needs two hands, and a flat surface at the other end. |
| Arrangement or stand | ฿1,800 – ฿3,200 | In a vase, a basket, or on a stand 60 – 90 cm tall | A room, not a person. |
| By consultation | Above ฿3,200 | Whatever it turns out to need — | We ask what it is for before we quote. |
A bigger band is not a better bouquet. Above a large bouquet, most of what you are paying for is size — and size is a problem for anyone who has to carry it, find a vase for it, or fit it on a hospital bedside table. If a smaller one is right, we will say so.
