Order by 1:00 PM and it goes out today. After the cutoff it goes on the first delivery the next morning.

Bloom & Blossom is a shophouse halfway down a residential soi. Chai buys, Lek runs it, Nicha photographs it and Ton delivers it. That is the whole company, and it is why we say no to some weekends.
Flowers should fit the occasion, not the budget.

Buys, conditions, and does the last minute
He grew up in Nonthaburi and carried flowers for his father at the wholesale market from the age of eleven — up at one, wholesale at three, deliveries by five. He speaks slowly, and people meeting him for the first time sometimes read that as sternness. It is not. He checks stems one at a time, and anything with a bruise goes back in the bucket.
“It might look fine today. Tomorrow, when it arrives, it won’t.”
Runs the shop
She talks to you, wraps, chooses the colour, takes the money and answers the LINE messages. She can usually work out what someone wants to send from how they describe the person. When a customer opens with a budget, she asks what day it is instead.

Photographs everything, writes the cards
She studied graphic design and came home instead of going to an agency. She photographs every bouquet, writes the cards by hand, and made this website. She and her father disagree about wrapping — she wants less paper, he says the flowers matter more than the paper. They finish every argument by finishing the bouquet.
Deliveries
Three years on the same routes. He knows the security guards, the ward desks and the hotel concierges by name, which is most of the job.
“The hard part isn’t the address. It’s the person.”
Every bouquet goes on the bench before it is wrapped. Chai puts it down, walks once around it, and looks. He does not rebuild it. Usually he turns one rose about fifteen degrees, or pulls a eucalyptus leaf a little further out, and that is all.
People tell him nobody will notice.
“The person who sends it will.”
It is also the reason the photograph you are sent looks like the bouquet you get. It is taken on the bench, after the turn, not before.
Chai leaves for the wholesale market at 03:00 on Tuesday and Friday, and is back by 06:30. He has been going since he was eleven, when he carried buckets for his father.
Wednesday and Saturday get a top-up delivered to the door. The freshest the shop ever is, is Tuesday and Friday morning.
He looks at stems one at a time and puts anything bruised back in the bucket. It costs us margin every single week.

Which is why the mornings are hospital visits, lunchtime is office birthdays, mid-afternoon is the school, and the evening is anniversaries. Occasionally somebody comes in for a wreath, and the shop goes quiet.
Nicha writes them by hand. Free, always, with any order.
Thai, English or Chinese. Say which when you order. Up to about 40 words on the standard card. Longer than that and we use a folded card instead, still free.
If you do not know what to write, say so. We will send three lines for the occasion and you pick one or change it. Most people do this and it is not unusual.
One customer
A man came on the same day every year for fifteen years and bought white lilies. Lek never asked why.
One year he said “you don’t have to wrap it nicely today — I’m just going to see her”, and that was how we found out.
The freshest lilies of that week are put aside on that date now. Nobody mentions it.
